The OBU statement of intent is “Serving Churches, Serving Christ” It says in a concise way what the spirit of the OBU is. We want to encourage, equip, and enhance our churches as they seek to serve Christ our Lord in their communities.

We recognise that there is no “one size fits all” solution to mission in the 21st century and our churches vary in their vision according to their community. Our desire is to see them do the best they can with the resources at their disposal to bring the reality of a living Saviour to the people they meet.
